Hi, I am a student studying childcare with special needs in Cork. I am looking to get information from a parent of a child with ADHD attending primary school, as part of my studies. I would be sincerely greatful if someone could provide me with the following information:
1. how adhd affects the child's all-round development
2. what support you / the child recieve (from services, organisations, resources, financially etc..)
3. If your child has an IEP (individual educational programme) in school, and if possible, what areas of his / her development are being covered in this, and what are some of it's goals.
I am finding it hard to get the above information, and would be very greatful if someone would share their story with me. I hope to hear from somebody soon, Thank you! |
