lola has some sort of snydrome that even crumlin cant diagnois we do alot of traveling up and down to dublin and in and out to appointments.
i have to say shes in the early intervention and there great but i have a problem well one of many
ot gave us a buggy yesterday becuase lola cant sit up her biggest problem is low muscel tone so she needs suppost and the buggy i had for her was so uncomfortable for her but very easy for me to manage on buses and trains
now the buggy i was given yesterday is an absolute nitemare its not user friendly, like serioulsy i was nearly in tears yesterday tryin to dismantle it to get it to fit somewhere, i took her 4 a walk in it today and she nearly slipped threw it and i cudnt manage it by myself.
what am i goin to do does anyone know what other parents do in this situation what buggys do people use,my life is stressful with tryin to keep on top of things with her and i already have the problem of bein put out of a disabled spot because shes a baby if it happens now wiht this monster buggy it means i cant travel.
can anyone help what do ye do in this situation if a child has low muscel tone what options of transportin them do i have ,shes only 14 months now 10kg so even normal buggys only go up to 15
thanks

Hey there,

I was in Germany a couple of weeks back looking at Buggies for jogging / running. There is a company called TFK and they sell a buggy called the Joggster III. Anyway to cut a long story short, it's a big buggy, well cushioned and was specifically designed for parents who jog with their kids, but the shop ***istant told me that they actually sell a lot of these to Special Needs ins***utions in Germany as they can take up to 100kg (even though all buggy manufacturers say 15kg accross the board) and I sat in it (I'm not far off 90kg) and no probs. As I said though, it's a bit on the big side but just thought it was worth the mention. I think that you can get them on ebay ?
